My Maz 8 is special: hi input is low and lo input is high! I just realized this today, after two weeks exclusive use of the "hi" input. I just tried the lo side, and had more gain and volume. I would prefer things to be correct... But I guess that's the game with hand made amps! Anyway, this amp sounds fabulous! So, what's the easiest way to fix things? And does it worth it?

Easiest thing to do is see your dealer if that's possible. If not, call the factory. But give your dealer the chance to make it right. That's what they do.

I really find that hard to believe, but if you say so. What is the serial number BTW so I can check it out ? Three sets of hands and ears QA an amp before shippment.
I guess if someone changed the chassis from a head to a combo with a panel swap that would have resulted.
Pretty easy to resolve, no soldering needed. Just pull chassis out of cab, remove the two 1/2" nuts and washers from the jacks. Jacks will now slide out as they are wired as a set, just spin top to bottom . Push jacks back threw the holes and install washers and nuts.
If your not confertable doing this please take to the dealer you bought it from and I'll OK a warrenty repair.
Sorry for the inconvience, but please get back to me with S/N and dealer name you bought it from.

Thanks for your answers. Where can I find the serial number of the amp? I bought it (blonde Maz 8 Studio) from Guitar Rebellion, Paris, France, two weeks ago.

Thanks, I'll check that tonight (turning on that amp is one of the very first things I do when I come home these days! Did I mention that amp is just the best amp I've ever heard in person? )

Hi, Serial is W-32123. And I do confirm the inversion, no doubt. 3dB difference is loud enough to be noticed! Cheers.
