That is cool! I've made a few attempts at finishing guitars and all came out just mediocre, then I got a real buffing arbor station from Stew Mac and with about an hour of graduated buffing, the mediocre attempts became creampuffs!! It's amazing at what some wet sanding and dry buffing can do to a bumpy finish.

It's a little reminiscent of those "Joe Nobody will teach absolute noobs guitar ninjas that strike terror into the hearts of seasoned professionals world wide!!! Plus, you'll get girls!!! Also, your acne will clear up!!!" ads in Guitar Player.
Maybe not quite that bad...
