Bentley Guitar Studios in Parkville, MO (suburb of Kansas City) has just taken on this line of guitars. They are really quite nice! From what I understand the guitars are actually made in Korea, then they are shipped to Memphis where they install Wilkinson parts, CTS pots and cloth covered wire. The pickups are Korean also but made by someone there who specializes in pickups so they are not the cheapest generics. The necks are sort of a medium C and looks like a 10" or 12" radius and medium size frets. The neck was a lot like a normal Tele. The quality is very good ansd sounded good to me. Medium weight except the one with the F hole is lighter. I was pretty impressed.

I had an old St. blues strat style I bought in the early 80's that was my main guitar for years. I foolishly sold it a couple year ago nad have missed it ever since. I'm very interested in the new St. Blues and would love to check some out.

I had the chance to play on eof the new St. Blues yesterday. It was a Blues caster IV. Tele style body with a H/S/S pickup configuration. Tried it out through a Vox AC15CC. First of all the neck and fret work on this one was fantastic. It play smoothly and had no dead spots, intonation seemed spot on. don't know what pups are in them but they sounded great. Nice throaty strat tones o the neck. great "quack" on the 2 and 4 positions. The Humbuckers split had a great almost "tele" tone and was nice and fat on its own. Surprising excellent quality. There will probably be one in my future.

St Blues has gone through some ups and downs over the last few years. They had a line of guitars made in China that were absolute dogs. So if you see a chinese made St Blues, avoid it.
The line is entirely made in Korea now, and are much better quality. Good buys.
