I have played for a week, a mexican deluxe series strat with vintage noiseless pickups, ash body, sunburst etc... and a 50's classic player's series strat, custom shop design, with 57/62 pickups[?] Both play awesome and the noiseless p'ups seem more full, lil more bottom end, just a/b'ed for a hour again thru a 38 maz sr/zbest cab. kept eq the same on amp for both guitars
I love both necks and they both are maple, cant decide and like the idea of noiseless The mexican deluxe series neck are great for the money, like 'em better than a american standard....... anybody tried the vintage noiseless in a live situation? etc.........

You can change electronics. Changing feel is more problematic. One feels and plays better, maybe?... Sorry, was that a question? I would have to read the propaganda again, but I think my 60th Aniversary Strat has vintage noiseless pups. It sounds mighty fine through the Galaxy clean channel but it has not made it out of my house.

Some good guitars coming out of Mexico and yes I agree on the Am Std , not what it once was and getting worse as the years go by . Fender has so many models that are somewhat like in what they offer it makes it hard to decide IMHO . The noisless may be a better choice for gigs when you have the amp cranked some but in the end I agree with Jan , it's more important which you like to play , electronics can be changed if it turns out they don't suit you .

I would also agreee that its not where its made so much as to the playabliity.. As long as the craftsmanship is the same I'm sure ones gotta be just a little bit more of a player....
