Anyone out there have a Vinetto Artifact?
I am SERIOUSLY considering one and I'd like to know the Serious skinny on these. They look very promising. If you have one, can you tell me about: Set up, body and neck resonance, overall vibe, workmanship (fit and finish), etc.?
Also, does anybody know the scoop on whether or not Vince Cunneto selects his own body and neck wood and does the cutting himself? Or does he outsource?

I'd call Stu @ Fat Sound, he's a dealer for them and the man knows tone/good gear.

I have a Vinetto Legato. Great guitar. I'm pretty sure that he does not out source his bodies or necks. If you email him, he will gladly answer in a timely manner. At least that is my experience with him. His necks are awesome. I don't know what he offers on the tele artifacts but on the legato, it goes from a soft v to a full c and it is very comfortable. Fit and finish is impeccable. I hope that helps.

I actually live an hour north of KC. We may have crossed paths in KC before though. If you want to try out my Vinetto, maybe we can meet somewhere in KC. Just let me know.

Ive played a handful of his Strats and teles at Mak'n Music in Chicago, and they are amazing and say compared to a fender master built, pretty reasonably priced. I have a First year, Fender 60' Relic that was built by him, ( Vince Cunetto ) and it's pretty close to a holy grail for me! Curtis has informed me that he has first rights to it, in the event of my untimely demise ! Hey, .... how come i got no brakes on my caaaarrrrrrrr!!!!! ;D
