I have a Garrison G-20 acoustic that I love, and I took it out of the case the other day..... The headstock cracked. It must have been a flaw in the wood. I was feeling OK because I know that Garrison has a 5 year transferrable warranty, so I go to their website and find out that the contact info is Gibson. I call and find out that Gibson isn't honoring Garrisons warrantee's. Oh well, I guess I have to get it fixed out of my pocket!

I agree, Garrisons are really sweet for cheap money. I wish I had a little extra dough, because my local music shop is discounting them right now because they can't stand dealing w/ Gibson and they want to get rid of the whole line Well, I don't like dealing with Gibson either because they took away my warranty - AARRGGHH

THAT BITES!! You'd think it'd be plain old fashioned good business to honor the warranty of the company they DECIDED to acquire! It doesn't make sense to me at all!

I thought Gibson would step up to the plate. I guess not. I think Gibson really needs to have a serious look at how they are beginning to look as far as customer satisfaction and quality control . In my opinion they have lost a lot of customers for this reason and not honoring warranty on a company they just acquired will only put another nail in that company's coffin
