Totally happy with mine - I have been through five guitars since I bought mine. The EJ is the only one I play out.

I have one too. I like it a lot. Of course check one out thoroughly before you buy. One thing I like is it's light weight.

I was reading an interview with him somewhere (I think it was Musicians Friend) where he was saying the reason he did the sig guitar thing was that vintage strat prices are nuts so he wanted to give the public a cheaper guitar that was vintage in every way exceptdate of manufacture (and wear).
Noble idea.

I bought a used one 3 months ago for a good price sight unseen but from a trusted dealer. I am not a big Strat guy. I spent some time setting it up and now I am very happy, play it a lot, love the feel and the tone. It's a keeper!
There are a few things I had to adapt to but that is typical for most guitars....ie....the high "E" and low "E" strings tend to slip off the neck fairly easily so I had to change the force vector/angle of pressure exerted from me fingers ;D, no big deal.
Ah, almost forgot....the high "E" string is weak compared to the other strings, a bit aggravating.

It was ok...I had one for a month, didn't really like the tone I was getting out of it with the Z. I much prefer my V-neck deluxe....

Love it! It had some minor setup issues when I got it, but after a good tech job it was perfect! Sounds great through the Maz! I agree with the others though, if you are buying it new definitely try it out before you get one, since at around $1600 bucks it is pricey but still a great value!

I didn't care much for mine so I sold it and bought a few G&L's that I like alot more.

I've tried a couple, but still haven't found one to replace my G&L Legacy.

The vary..a LOT, like all Fenders, I've played 10 or so and only one could have been a keeper, I'm just not comfortable with a 12" radius.
And yes, there are a lot of them on the used market, whole and parts.
