I love the sound and the way the guitar plays (Allman Bros etc) but I have changed strings everything, and it will not stay in tune. Will new tuners fix or help? Suggestions. Thanks

Gibbys seem to have this issue until a real master has a crack at the set up.
The stock nut will bind the strings, the slots are never 'right and the frets need a level.
IME it's rarely the tuners.

I'd say the tuner's fault? About one in a million.

I have a ash body lefty studio and I had a professional set up and bone nut installed. That helped but I finally changed to grovers and haven't had any problems since......Sterling

I'm by no means an expert - but my Les Paul Goldtop from 69 that I bought second hand in 1974 started to slip out of tune - after 15 years or so.
I changed the Klusons to Groovers - never a problem since.

If you like the look of the Klusons, you can get the gotoh locking keystones, a much better product.
I agree about the nut, I had mine recut shortly after gstting the guitar and it helped a lot.

It's the total guitar. I have owned a few Les Pauls. My 1970 Gold Top only stayed in tune after I put Grovers in it. In 1972 I bought a 59 Standard and it had Grover Imperials in it. Never stayed in tune. Changed to regular Gorvers and it stayed in tune.
Recently had Sperzal locking tuners put in, re freted and had the Buzz Feiten system put in at Tim Schroeder Guitar in Chicago. Stays in tune for about 15 hours of playing. Change strings, back in tune.

Getting some new tuners next week and then will do the nut if that does not work. Thanks for the feedback,
