It gets Crunchy Dumble Meets Marshall when Adding the Barber LTD SR and the Wampler Pinnacle Lethal combo! anyone else runnning their Galaxies For Rock Sounds

Yep, for me all that, and after all the great amps I've had I am done shoppin'! So much versatility, I run mine with a very slight bit of delay from a Chandler digital echo into a 1x12 open back cabinet with a Weber California cloth dome speaker. You don't need a thing more, but if I get greedy for a third tone, I use a Highway 77 by Heavy Electronics for some extra ker thunk added to channel one. When you find a formula that works just keep playin' it! :)The Galaxie has great rock tones, and there's not a thing I don't use it for.

Don't know about the Dumble-y part, but I'd agree on the Fender/Marshall-y part. In fact, I'd say a little of the old M1 Mesa/Boogie sustain on channel 2. I stayed away from that channel for a while, but now that I'm not playing out much (and not using a two amp rig) I've been messing w/ channel 2 more. There's some pretty cool sounds there if you take the time to mess w/ the eq and volume knobs...

Not sure 'bout the Dumbley sounds ..... but I can safely say that T-rock's description of the Galaxie " ... from Chet to Chains ... " is absolutely on-the-money Clean Fenderisms ..... thru light drivin' tones ..... into mean and massive MArshall-esque mayhem. Galaxie does it As for puttin' a coupla stompers in-front and hookin' up with a 412 cab? Yup. U gonna let everybody experience your tonal bliss ;D ;D ;D All that said, I usually run thru 112 and/or 210 cabs with the foot-switch as the main pedal for effects .... though a Flying Dragon and Draconis can be sum kinda fun too ;D cheers always, Joel

The amp reminds me of a hi watt and when I play it through my old Marshall 4x12, it gives me a raw kind of AC/DC or Pete Townsend chord thrash. I roll off on the bass and run it through my 2x10 and I can twang for days. This amp is out of the world. Lol!
Sounds better than a Marshall, bested the Fenders and whatever amp company is out there. The Doc knows how to utilize the components in his amps to the fullest of their potential.
