I know it's been stated on here that the Red Fang is very loud, but one just doesn't know how much until you place it into a comparative situation. My main gigging amp has been a Maz JR NR combo with a Celestion Blue for several years. I also have a head that I use as a back up. I knew how loud my rig was through the Blue, so I decided to plug the Red Fang into the Maz Jr head just to see how it sounded. WOW!!! I couldn't believe just how much louder that speaker was than the Blue!
I'm convinced that I can take this Monza anywhere and hang with the loudest of amps.

I decided to turn the MV all the way up to see just how loud the amp would get. I'm having to fix some broken windows now. LOL
I just can't believe that this amp is so loud.

I'm thinking the Monza/Red Fang 10 combination might be the most surprising combination of ridiculous loudness vs. small size. Last I played one (it was Jaguarguy(Mike)'s, before the MV-mod) it blew my mind.. I could almost not comprehend the volume/size thing.

well, i just played mine at an outdoor bike show/cancer benefit. i was using a weber ferromax vintage 50 watt spkr. but it is a 15 inch version. i just blew everyone off the stage. i set the master volume on halfway and it was still too much. the one guy who had the bigger band came up about both z's i was carrying (also a kt45 head) asked if they were about 1500 or so. he was using a hot rod deluxe with 4 tens,,, said it was too much weight,, hah,, I recommended the monza with a ten inch red fang,,, he plays country rock so he will probably find the right. someone last week came up after a show at a car show and asked about the z. they are more popular than we thought maybe. huge amp. big tone. rock and blues. but can do the modern country thang i think.
