I just wired in set of Fralin UnBuckers into a 93 Cherry red SG. The neck was 8K and the Bridge was 9.5K. I ordered the set with 4 conductor wiring. I used the "Jimmy Page" wiring schematic. All the pots are 500k push-pull. In addition, I had the neck volume control as the master volume, the neck tone as the master tone, the bridge volume as the neck pup volume control, the bridge tone as the bridge pup volume. The master volume pull was also the series parallel, the master tone pull was in/out of phase, the neck and bridge volume control pull is the single coil tap. I fitted 100PF caps on all three volume controls to maintain tone at all volume levels. I used a Sozo .047 for the master tone cap. www.sozoamplification.com/I changed the saddles to titanium as well. The SG was strung with a set of Mangan 10-46 nickle wrap. The SG never sounded this good. Incredible tonal flexibility, tone for days, and a lightweight guitar. Here's the schematic from Duncan. Keep in mind the Fralin color codes www.fralinpickups.com/images/phazrev.jpg are different from Duncan. www.seymourduncan.com/support/schematics/jp_style.htmlHave fun, Rick

I'll second the vote on the Fralin Unbuckers. I have a set in a Heritage 150 and they're great. Very low noise and clear tone. No mud in the wound strings.
