Anybody ever sit a Ghia head on top of an Avatar G112 speaker cab? The Ghia specs out to be slightly wider left-to-right than the G112, not much, but I just wondered if the Ghia's rubber feet hit solidly and if it would be safe and stable.

Looks good with the Ghia! It would be a little narrow with a Maz sr or Stang Ray though. A Route 66 would fit about the same because I think they are the same size.

You could also flip the cab on it's side and buy feet for it. I've done that with a few of my own. I have a 2x12 Weber cab that is 15 x 28 but I added feet to the short side and I use it as a tall cab that a Ghia fits nicely on with just a little overhang on each side. When I use a Maz Jr. Head I use it the other way.

I was so pleased with my first Avatar G112, I picked up another and this time it's blonde with an oxblood grill to match my Ghia. It will be closed back with an Eminence Wizard. The other Avatar will have a Celestion G12H30.
Someday though - I will get a Z 2x10.

2nd cabinet hasn't arrived yet. I have to be out of town until Thursday and it should arrive then. Friday I should have a chance to patch the two cabs in.

I have a Ghia head and G112/V30 cab. It sounds fine but I have to get the whole thing off the floor or the low end gets excessive.
