The perfect blues axe with some attitude . I love the growl from P90's Very nice , I'll have to try one someday when I find a store within driving distance that carries them .I live an hour away from Michigan and you would think a dealer over here would carry those

I actually bought this one, sight unseen. To my knowledge, I'd only played two p-90 guitars before buying this one (sounds like an impulse thing, but that was a year prior to picking this one up). One was a Brubaker (small builder out of Maryland) that had a set of Lindy Fralins in it, played through a Mesa/Boogie (is there an amp called a Texas Special ((no, that's a pickup))?) What is it, a Lone Star? One of you (or seven) will correct me in the morning. The other was a Korean Reverend Charger (spruce top, 2 p-90s, and a chambered body). Of course, the Fralins sounded sweet (what a way to be introduced to p-90s), but the Rev played so well (I wasn't hip to the antique sunburst on it) that I knew I would have enjoyed one of the USA models. Sad thing was, I initially found out about Reverend's USA series after they had been discontinued. No matter, brothas; we live in the digital age. I waited in the cyberbushes (not a robotic sex toy, mind you) for months and a contributer to TGP PMmed me a link to a retailer in Kansas or something in, like, January of this year, telling me about one that had never been sold to the public. He sent me the link and I sent him big thank-yous after my wife said she'd get it for me for my birthday (note to self: nevermind the horseshoe up your butt, you married the right woman (( I just came home from rehearsal tonight at 12:30 am and still have a wife to come home to)) ). Look at me; I'm Mr. Parenthetical, tonight. Sorry, guys.
There won't be any sound clips for a while, I'm afraid. I still have to sell my board and speakers before I invest in a new mixer (I'm leaning toward Mackie's Onyx series) and I'm looking to get a new computer this summer. Perhaps then, but my friend has a home studio and has been known to record me at the drop of a hat.
I just knew LeftyLang would chime in on this one. Glad you like it, you almost-Z-Natic, you. I''m back on the horse, so maybe I'll hit Z-Natic by, say, Independence Day.

They do, that, dock66. And for anybody, like me, who was skeptical about single coil pickups, after playing humbuckers exclusively, I have a nickle's worth of free advice:
Play louder than the hum! If that doesn't work, do like I do and play with the lights off, LOL!

nice guitbox propellr! I've got one of the Korean Warhawks w/ p90's and I love it. They really do a great job of setting them up at the Reverend factory when they come in from overseas. Best darn guitars for under $500...

Best darn guitars for under $500... I hear that, man. I have not heard of an ill set-up among any of them. Just really tight (neat) all the way around. Thanks for the comment!
