Made the mistake of going to the local music store today and this followed me home. Here's another pic, a little better but the guitar isn't reddish really, more of an almond burst. It's chambered, gold hardware, beautiful top, I think it's called a Classic Antique, a new model but I might be wrong. I'll find out tomorrow when I pay for it. Lovin' it though; can't put it down. It's sort of a Deluxe with nice top, gold hardware, chambers (really light) and P-90s.

Ooh M...a...n, now thats a Les Paul Alyssa and I just got finished doing the "oh.. my.. God what a nice guitar". If I were going Lester shopping that would fit me perfectly: vintage P90s, light weight, great top and finish and a beautiful headstock. If she sounds as good as it looks, you definitely have to keep this one!! I've been wanting to stop by so you can try my Casino out, but I really want to stop by now

Thanks guys. Yeah Bill, you have to stop by. This thing sings. When I walked into the store, Brian (my regular salesman who has sold me 4 guitars and a bunch of other stuff), lifted this down and handed it to me. He knows I've been looking for something like this for awhile. This LP is lighter than my PRS and I was worried about the loss of sustain with the chambers but no worries, lots of that. Bill, I'm dying to see that Casino of yours. I miss my 330. I think my gas is terminal.
The pictures don't do it any justice. I'm not much of a photographer and can't get pics to come out how anything looks in reality. It's a shame cause it's some purty.

Good score - when are you postin' the new sound clips? And, did you need anyone to mind yer other guitars while you get acquainted with the new one? ;D

Nice score, Gary! A beauty of a Lester. I had not heard about that model before - very cool features!
Cheers, Blair

I really can't find the words to properly explain how sweet that guitar is and how bad my GAS for a P-90 LP is let alone that flamey, chambered beauty. Insane!

Oh Man that is awesome, I am totally weak for P-90s. She's a beautiful creature!

This guitar is as light as, or lighter than my strat, which is a light weight strat to begin with. It surprises me each time I pick it up. There are two modes with these pickups. They are each two P-90s stacked for hum cancellation but by pulling the volume knobs up, you access the single coils only.
I didn't like the sound at first when I played it in the store until I pulled the knobs up. It is useful though. I've been using the stacked, humbucker mode at the bridge with overdrive and the neck pup as a single coil; works really well. Then for clean, I've been doing the reverse. The neck pickup along with the chamber gives a cool tone for jazz and the single coil at the bridge is trebly enough to do a pretty good country tone (always with that P-90 bite - pretty cool).
This guitar I think I can live with for sometime. I think I will keep the pickups too. I thought I would have to change them but they are sounding pretty good through my rig. That may change though. They are a little noisy through OD pedals but not too bad. They might do. OTWT (Only Time Will Tell).
