that is one sweet lookin' axe ;D Thanks for your comment! I think so too. This one has the voice to match! They really did a nice job on this guitar. Great neck angle/action. Pickups are killer - great responsiveness. It is the 50's neck - chunky, but not baseball bat. Super comfortable to play. Got it from a dealer who has sold guitars since 1964. He said this was one of the best he's had in years and reminded him of the real vintage ones (ie. '59) more than any one he sold for a long time. Cheers, Blair

Looks great , what year is it ? It is a 2004. The dealer said he was convinced it is a "plus top" but it came to him used without papers, so he can't verify 100%. Cheers, Blair

Very nice guitar indeed. It looks like you might have bought it from Phil. His photo background gives him away. Make sure you bring that one to the NW Z get together if you go.

Very keen observation skills, my friend. Yup, it was one of Phil's. I have read posts of yours re Nash guitars, so I knew you had been to Phil's before. I'll make sure to bring it down to the NW event! Cheers, Blair

Me Too! Just want to share this one with y'all. It's a 91 LP Special. So far she still has stock pups (P-100's). I am thinking either Lollar or Fralin P-90's. Off to a gig..can't to let her rip with the Z SR. Rick

Thanks for the compliments . I gigged with the Special yesterday at a Memorial Day Festival in Mt Dora, Florida. One of the bands was "The Grass Roots" form the 60's ("Live for Today" and "Midnight Confessions"). I found getting to the higher frets, 15+, a bit of a chore. I am thinking I may be better off with a Double Cut LP Special. This LP Special sounds great and a huge looker. Blair, I was playing through my 1-12 MAZ Senior/verb. I appologize for the confusion. Thanks, Rick

Oh, and your 91 LP Special looks killer, too. Love those early 90s ones.

That's a really nice looking guitar, Blair. I'll have one of those too, please! ;D Thanks, Cosmo! We had it in a recording session last week and it sounded HUGE. Eventually when the tracks are finished and mastered, I'll try to put up a link so those who are interested can check it out! (I'm working on our producer to get one of my Z's on the tracks too! So far we've used his amps - an older Marshall and an Ampeg - and the results have been real good...but I'm pluggin' for a Z in that mix.) Cheers, Blair

My Lester is a 84 Studio. From 83-87? they made studios with the bound neck and bound body. Looks just like a Standard Lester except for the dot neck - not trapezoid. Plus it's half the price. Great guitar. - Surreal McCoys
