I got a nice suprise yesterday afternoon when I got home from work and found my new Crook Custom Strat in surf green paisley finish sitting in my living room. Man what a beautiful finish on this guitar, and it plays like a dream. I ordered it with some custom Voodoo pickups, and they totally blew me away. Hooked up to the RxES, it's the sound I've always wanted to get from a strat and never been able to find, especially in the bridge. It's the StangRay's turn tonight. I'll add pics soon. Maybe I'll even order a Tele down the road. Hmmmm.......

Hey Mike. You can't go wrong with the Crook if you decide to order one. Bill will work out every last detail you could possibly want on your guitar and answer any questions you may have, no matter how stupid they are. I know I asked a few of those. The total turnaround time on my Strat was just a hair over 6 months, but it was well worth the wait. I'm actually talking to Bill about building an Esquire Tele for me as well, but that'll probably be a little bit down the road until I can save up some funds. Good luck with your new Tele. Let us know if you end up going with the Crook.

Hey aj1169.....I just ordered me a new tele about a week ago......Bill recommended the adder bridge and the voo doo neck pickup so I can't wait to get this thing.......I did basically all the specs from Paisleys guitar but I did a yellow see through finish going into an ash body.....What were the neck specs you got on your strat ?

The neck on my strat was the 2 piece maple with maple fretboard. 6105 frets, fatback contour, with vintage style nut. It's a really chunky neck which is exactly what I like. The edges are super smooth and it just feels very comfortable.

Congrats on ordering a "Salsa". That'll be a cool looking guitar for sure. Bill is great to deal with and just talk guitars with. Usually when I call him, we get into a discussion about guitars that lasts for like 30 minutes. Super nice guy and great to do business with.
