Well, my spending splurge has finally come to an end for now. After receiving my StangRay and RxES, I got an email from Bill Crook yesterday saying that my guitar is finished. So, hopefully by the end of the week, I'll have in my hands a new Crook paisley Strat in surf green finish. Can't wait to give it a whirl on my new amps. I'll post pics when it comes in.

hey aj1169.
You're gonna love it. My Crook Tele is such an amazing playing and sounding guitar. It'll be hard to put down. The wait is worth it.

Thanks Sam. I saw the pictures of your Tele and I must say, that's a fine looking instrument. The reason I went to Bill to make my guitar is all the great comments I've heard about him, and from talking to him on the phone during the order process, I couldn't be more pleased with his customer service and attention to detail. I got a message about a month ago saying that he had been applying the paisley pattern to the body, and when he got done, he noticed a tiny blemish that he wasn't happy with. So he stripped the pattern off, ordered another one, and went back to work. Sure, it made the build process take a little longer, but when he says he won't let anything leave his shop until he's 110% satisfied with it, then I have confidence that I will be just as satisfied. Just my little Crook guitars story.
