Thinking about buying an acoustic guitar amplifier, any brand suggestions?
Thanks.

Ditto on the SWR amps-- very good.
Other good amps for acoustic guitar are keyboard amps, like the trusty Peavey KB100.
If you can find one of those Trace Acoustic amps (Trace Elliot), they were pretty good in their day, and should be pretty affordable now.

I have a Rivera Sedona here and it sounds pretty great. And it has TUBES!

Again here just my .02$
I have a Marshall AS 80-R for an acoustic amp and i love it. It h as 2 x 10 and sound good with everything i ran trough it so far. It has a piezzo on the main channel so even passive acoustic guitars sounds great. I know they did a AS 50 version as well.

+1 for the Trace Elliot stuff. I got a TA100R that I just Love the sound of even if it is a bit heavy to lug around! Surprisingly enough you don't see many used ones around this part of the world though, mine was only the 2nd or 3rd I've seen in about 10 years. [glow=limegreen,2,300]-J-[/glow]

I play with a guy who uses the large Fender Acoustisonic with his Gibson 12-string. The sound is stunning. Clear, warm and 360° of dispersion. You must try one before buying.

Nope Curtis, I run mine through my PA too. Just got a new Fender PD250 PA - sounds pretty darn good. I usually use a boost, chorus and delay to make it sound purty too.
