Not much info on his site, what's the story about these? And where do you get 'em?

They Friggin' rock. Love 'em... They are a little more expensive than Balls or D's. But worth it. Last longer and feel great for a "standard" type string. I think you can get them at www.pedalgeek.comCool thing about them is that they have just about any gauge you could want. The guy that started the company used to work for Ernie Ball. To make an analogy, if Ernie Ball = Fender, then Curt Mangan= Paul Rivera, if that makes sense.... j

Mangan make great strings, I especially like the ones with the 10.5 high e string. The other strings I really like are the Snake Oil Strings, they are warmer and more vintage sounding. Both strings are great.

Got some CM Strings today, put em on my strat...so far so good. Nice bright tone and jangle, have a nice slinky (hee hee) feel, don't really feel like 10's...a little more flex to 'em.

Lefty you will probably find that the strings settle in pretty fast, and seem to last forever. On most strings if I am playing a lot I will change them once every 1-2 weeks. On these CG strings its at least a month, and I still get that great treble response after they are well broken in.

Rick turned me on to them. I'm on my second box and love 'em. I have yet to break one string. I play 10s' and put string savers on all my guitars as I tend to break strings after approx 8 hours of gigging, not so much with practicing. I've not broken CM string and have a set on my primary guitar for a 4 week period when I had no 4 set gigs and they still sounded great.
