Has anyone tried any of the sweetened temperaments? Do they sound good? Thanks.

They are nice, but the difference is pretty subtle.

I'm looking at a 'turbo tuner' which is supposed to be a little more accurate but doesn't have those sweetened tunings so I wasn't sure if those would be worth an extra 70$. www.turbo-tuner.com/Anyone got one of those?

The sweetened tunings wouldnt be worth $70 to me but being able to see the display in direct sunlight is! I cant imagine being able to see those red dots outdoors...the strobostomp can be easily be seen outdoors. I was skeptical but I bought one(strobostomp that is) and the first thing I did was go out on the back porch in the Texas mid-day summer sun and sho nuff, I could see it very well. I could use one of those turbo-tuners though...when we play 3 pc(no drummer) I usually just carry the Mini and my guitar and it would be nice to have a compact strobe tuner that would fit into the guitar case.

The strobostomp gets the guitar in tune noticably more acurately than my old boss chromatic did. The tuner almost has to be 'played' though to get a stable reading on the top E. The trick is the keep the volume very low.

love my Strobostomp. The best guitar money I've ever spent, and I love all the other things I've bought-- especially my Z!!
