Greetings All,
I have never played anything with mini's or soaps and I'm curious about them. What do they sound like? How do they differ from single coils and humbuckers?

Generically speaking, because there are many variables, a mini hum is a little lower in output and brighter (glassier) than a full size humbucking. A P-90 is generally darker than a Fender single coil and output is in between that of a humbucking and a Fender single coil. As I said there are many variables that can come into play depending on the maker.
