I tried out a few Nash guitars a while back and they were really nice. It's kind of like New Old Stock... I love the pre-aging and I think he does a pretty good job for the money, considering what the Fender Custom Shop charges.

Nash guitars are just scary good - I'm afraid to ever pick one up as I know my bank account will just disappear .... ;D The overall look, feel and sound are spectacular. Given the choice between droppin' a bundle on some vintage gear, Custom Shop or a Nash? definitely would go with Nash. just my .02

I have a Nash T-57 model, and it is by far my favorite Tele style guitar. Bill does a fantastic job with these instruments. The aging is a cool feature if you like that sort of thing, and he offers all the vintage Fender colors. The neck is the best feeling and easiest playing neck on any Fender type guitar I've ever played. It sounds extremely balanced and pumps out that terrific Tele tone that is to die for. My favorite guitar right now.

A lot cheaper than Fender relics too. Most of the Nashes I see are over-reliced for me but they look pretty real.

I have yet to play one, but, since I like guitars that have that broken-in feeling, I would step to one in a minute. I would dig having one of his basses, for sure. What's that finish called? Louisiana Roadhouse?

Can you not order one without the aging ? I would think the guitar would be priced lower if you didn't have to pay for that process which I don't care for . Best a player puts his own dings and wear on an instrument .

How do you go about ordering these Nash guitars ? According to the website he doesn't return emails or phone calls......Looks like he needs some help......If you can possibly order one of these I wonder what the wait time is ?

Bill will return emails and calls, he's just so backed up by being a one man operation that it sometimes takes a day or two. He doesn't do direct orders anymore, so you need to go through one of the listed dealers. I got my Nash last summer and waited 3 months for it. It may be a little longer wait now as his instruments are becoming more well known and the demand has gone up, but it's probably still around 3-4 month range.

I ordered this one through a dealer and couldn't be happier with it. It's Bill's "church gig" aging which is the lightest. 10" radius, chunky c profile, Lollar pickups - it's a great guitar. I had a photo of an old Tele that I loved which served as the basis for this one. You have to wait a few months with a custom order, but it's worth it.

I've been told by some dealers that they won't take custom orders anymore, that I had to wait until something came in that I liked. I thought that kinda sucked so I went with a Grosh, they are a dream to work with. I was very close to pulling the trigger on a Nash too.

Not a Nash fan here. I bought one new via the net, looked pretty cool, a bit heavy, fretted out, 500k pot on the volume (WTF?), tone pot froze on delivery (replaced it) sticky neck finish (Fixed that with steel wool and baby powder) sounded like crap..even after a pup swap, the saddles (Tele style) were un adjustable due to the "Relicing" i.e. rust.
Been there, done that, got the lost $$ ain't goin' back. YMMV

I looked on their website, they're all pre-beat up. If that look is really so popular I have a real relic 89 honda accord I can sell for a steal! :\
