Hello all, If you have converted a combo cabinet to an extension speaker cabinet, you'll have 4 gaping holes on the top of the cabinet from the chassis bolts. You'll need to plug them with something so beer doesn't run down into the holes when you spill it. Ace hardware or most local auto parts places will have automotive panel fasteners of various sizes. They look like this: This size was just right. They took some force to go in and the head covers the old holes as well as the rings left by the washers. No glue needed - the only way to get them out would be to punch them out from the inside. Cheap, effective, look good. Peace, Eddie

Thanks! I hurt my back yesterday and it looks like I'm going to need to convert back to a cab and head! the chassis holes are drilled a little larger than the chassis bolts....I drill 3/8" holes so the bolt has a little movement to adjust if needed...

Yeah, I use something that I'm sure is similar I also found at Ace. They're flat black plastic and are just called "hole plugs". I think I use 3/16", not positive. They're a tight-ish fit and are slightly domed so they look really good, especially against black tolex. You don't even notice them.
