19jmm68, all you need to do is, when you are editing, there is a button above the text box for adding an image. When you click that button, you get two "html tags" that look like this without the spaces I've added: [ img ] [ /img ] That tells the software that between those two tags is the Internet address of your image. You put your full URL in there (leaving out those spaces) and it shows up. The URL has to end in .jpg though - I noticed your third link doesn't. Let's see if your first two will work though: Some image hosting companies try to prevent this from working due to bandwidth concerns, so YMMV!

cool benttop! I knew it was easy! here is the 3rd photo.......... So....................that rig killed last night! Best tone I have EVER had. First time gigging a "tele" and I was blown away at how versatile this guitar is. All I needed was my RC booster for some hair and I was covering everything from Tommy Tutone to Johnny Cash. I love strats, but, tele's are like a fatter strat and so much more. Finally learning what all the fuss is about!

nice James ! what I like about the oil finish is it wears in, shows wear, and add's vibe to match the awesome feel it provides. A little tip, they should be able to tint the oil, my guy does so it matched the finish on the rear of the neck, a liitl play time will darken the board soon though.
I reallygladyou dig the guitar, thanks for including me on the purchase! Curt

I'm up to 3. 1 Ash/Maple ASAT Classic; 1 Alder/Rosewood ASAT Classic; 1 Ash/Rosewood S500. Love these things! AMAZING bang for the buck on the used market. For single coil tones, these get all the work. The MFD pups sold me on the guitars and the workmanship drove me to buy a few. They've been all over (flown/bus/van) in a gig bag and haven't missed a lick. Highly recommended!!

Yeah, I think I'm going to be looking for a used one - the ones I see that are used are way low on price and way high on value.

Yeah, I bought an ASAT Bluesboy on eBay earlier this year, and it is IMHO a stellar guitar for under a grand. Swamp ash, semi-hollow, no f-holes, Seth Lover at the neck, and the #2 (slightly fat) maple neck in the antiqued finish. This thing will do practically anything and kills through the Maz. The only thing to watch out for is that the bridge pup is slightly microphonic, so may squeal under high gain. But great workmanship, playability and sound. Go for it!

Weird headstocks bug me, too. As a kid I played lesser instruments for quite a while before getting my first real Fender and Gibson. I've tried a lot of nice guitars since then but never felt particularly compelled to buy anything other than the brands I loved 35 years ago.

OK. You guys got me. Here's my 99 ASAT Deluxe with HD Z-90 pups.
Picture deleted because I couldn't figure out how to post it in a smaller size.
I downsized this picture to 240 x 320 before inserting it. Not sure why it is showing up so large. Sorry everyone. If anyone knows why this thing is so large and\or how to fix it, please let me know.

I do believe there is an Asat going to find a home here in the future . I do have a George Fullerton Sig. and a Comanche which are Strats but not a Tele type G&L purchased yet . I sure like that Asat deluxe ridgeback....very nice .

Thanks nitehawk. My only other G&L is a George Fullerton model. One of the nicest "strats" I have ever played. Had an S-500 for about 5 years but it fell victim to my most recent gear purge. Down to just two now.

I just bought a Semi-Hollow ASAT Bluesboy, Honeyburst, and I paid half the price it's worth. Some idiot traded it in and didn't know what he had, went into the store to play it, came back the next day and threw down $1000+ w/ case and all. Not a scratch on it and plays incredibly well into my Z. I use it at R&B/soul/jazz gigs. It has a white pearl pickguard and a Seymour Duncan neck pickup. I'll try and get some pictures on here soon.

Sometimes you get lucky with the G&L gear - seems there are still lots of people who don't know/understand about 'em. Me, I've hung onto my Legacy. Dig it more than any other Strats I've played or owned. May just have to start looking for an ASAT in matching color to keep it company.
