I have a Ghia and might be able to do a straight trade for a Monza. Would those of you that have played both do it?

As they are completely different style amps, I would say it depends on if you want the monster of the Monza! If you already have a nice clean amp and are looking for something dirtier I would say yeah...I love my Monza.

Well, i did, to Don. BUT... I had an extra Monza, and he had an extra Ghia, so maybe it doesn't count. Would i have traded, if i had only one?In my case, probably not, i have several "cleanish" amps, but only 2 fire-breathers, the Monza and the Mazerati GT, the former for smaller houses, the latter for larger houses. These 2 are apples and oranges, with little shared characteristics, choice should be easy, depending on application. I didn't trade my Ghia for a Monza but, after I bought the Monza I sold the Ghia because it never got used and I don't miss it. JMHO

...i've bought and sold 4 ghias.....i have a monza now...my bandmate owns the first ghia i sold and he'll never part with it...its pretty simple...if you want more volume and gain trade for the monza....the brakelites or MV mod will address the volume issue at which point your dealing with a gainier ghia that can go bigger when you want it to.....thats probably oversimplifying it but thats what it amounts to for me...

Thanks guys. I think I will keep the Ghia. Cannot go wrong with something that is so good.
