My friend just picked up a Parker NiteFly guitar, and I'm really impressed with it. It plays like a dream and is soooo versatile in tone. Here's a pic of one I'm looking at possibly buying I love my Strat, but its the kind of guitar that you kind of have to "wrestle" the notes out of, not a fast or fluid playing guitar like an Ibanez or PRS (kind of "unsophisticated" but I guess that's the Strat charm). The Parker just seems like it nails the Strat tone, but lends that missing feature of playability and balance. And the Fishman Piezo acoustic tone is unreal. I know they're a little "modern" and unorthodox, but all in all a very feature-rich and toneful guitar. I'd like to hear any opinions you all might have before I take the plunge. -Greg

Well, I needed to relieve my G.A.S., so I called the seller of the Parker and ordered it. We guitarist were never the most patient bunch ;D. I'd still like to hear your opinions though. The one thing I did notice, however, because of the trademark "skinny" headstock, the Parker won't hang from my wall stands. Oh well, guess that means it will have to spend more time in my hands than on a stand ;D. Now I have to get rid of my Satriani Model Ibanez to help pay for it, I love the way it plays, but the tone is mediocre. And its all about tone -Greg

Some of the Parkers have a really shallow neck, front to back. I need more neck to support my old hands. The thing that would bug me is how close the tuners are together. They are really comfy guitars to wear, though. I dig the stainless frets.
