I can't blame you after hearing those clips of BW ripping it on the '52 Tele and CG.

ive gotta get down there and hear/see you play ronnie. i will hijack this thread and tell ya how fine the ghia sounds with the new celestion gold,, i know ,i know, very big bucks, but i got it from a z forum member.. i was using a cab with a gh12-30 and a v-30,, on my nash 52 tele, you know how the neck pickup is too bassy and just doesnt sound right if you get the bridge pup working right?,, not with this,, clear, articulate, non smarmy(the word) with the ghia volume up about 10 oclock it is nice and clear/clean, where as with other spkrs the neck pup is nonusable,, this has opened up the ghia big time for me,, i cant use another spkr setup,, now i have never used a celestion blue,, i know those are good, but this is a perfect match.... very very loud tone,, very loud and clear, better than any spkr i have used with the ghia... you jes have to try it to know it is worth it..after further research i have found that at higher volumes the ghia is not as suited to the gold as the RX is,, sorry to infer different,, at lower volumes it is a great match for the ghia, but not at higher volumes

Ah Cementman, I've been waiting to hear someone play a Ghia through a Cest' Gold. I even started a ghia/gold thread ages ago. I'd love to get one for my Rt 66 and was hoping it would sound good with the Ghia which I intend to get sometime soon. Awesome, my only worry was that being a 50 watt speaker might be too "clean" but I bet it's great. Well done Ronnie, I saw that listing also and hoped someone from the forum picked it up. All the better that it's a super hot picker like your good self!

Thanks guys...I hope I wasnt bidding against any of yall Im looking forward to getting this thing and seein what it'll do! I really didnt set out to get a Z best but I figure that was just icing on the cake and would be cheaper than buying both pieces seperately...now I can try the Zbest vs a 2/12 open back and see what all the fuss is about. Im probably going to pull the Z28 out of its combo cab and put it in the head cab...hopefully that will help that ef86 last a little longer. So then I would have... Ghia 1/12 combo, Z28 head, ZBest and a 2/12 open back cab...and of course the Mini.

Yeah Baby! That's a hot lil blonde ya got there Ronnie. You must prefer blondes. The first Z I ever played was Ghia through a ZBest, the rest if history. Congratulations on the new family member. I recently wrangled my Ghia back from our fiddle player and have really enjoying playing it. I'm a self admitted Curt-aholic* but my ghia has stuck with me. I'm sure you'll enjoy it and will be rippin it up. I'd like to hear your take on the Zbest vs the Z Open back 2x12. * sorry Bro I couldn't help me'self! ;D

I'm stoked. Mine is due to arrive on Monday. It's coming with some Austin, TX mojo. I ordered it from GuitarRez.com in Austin. They seemed like pretty nice guys.
