I've had my KT45 for a couple of weeks now and have went through a few speaker swaps already. When I got the amp and cab it had the stock 16 ohm G12H and Vintage 30's. I assumed I'd be changing them out when I ordered the amp. I first swaped the Vintage 30 for a Jensen Neo 12100 (cause this is my favorite speaker as of late) and it sounded good to me. Then just a few days ago I put in another Jensen Neo 12100 and automatically didn't like what I was hearing. Both too dark, odd midrange and a high end sizzle with my higher gain pedals.
Last night I put the original speakers back in and automatically liked the tone better. I figure I'll give Doc's stock speaker choices a chance. The voicing of the amp seems to work better with his choice of speakers; go figure! ;D
What are the lucky KT45 players using for speakers/cabs?

My speaker of choice has been my Mesa 3/4 Closed Back cab with a stock Mesa speaker. Sounds full, clear, and has a ton of power.

If you want more chime you could use a C. Gold or a Weber Blue Dog. I heard a clip of Greenbacks with that amp - sounded great in a closed back cab. Lots of choices.
