Ok. I've lurked long enough. Quick background before question: Beginning of year = 0 Dr Z amps. Current = 4 Dr Z amps. They are the best!
I recently acquired an older Prescription ES 2x12 combo. It has a toggle switch on the front for the overdose. I've read on the board here that a lot of people suggest that you get the much needed Master Volume mod. Does anyone have a ballpark figure on the cost of the mod (excluding shipping)? Would I send the combo or just the chassis? It would be nice if they could make the overdose footswitchable too. What's the usual turnaround time on sending an amp back to the doc?
Enough questions for now - I'm going to crank up the ES...

I'd call the shop and talk to Brent... see if they're OK to let you ship just the chassis so it'll be cheaper... they should also be able to make the overdose foot switchable ( i have the foot switch but the toggle would be neat for me as I leave it on or off and don't switch.) not sure how much that would be... the Master vol is around $100 or so I think for the mod ...and worth every single penny. Jason,
Thanks for the response.
I've sure got the disease. These amps are fantastic. I've always been a Fender guy but I don't think I'll ever go back.
Thanks for the info. I'll call Brent and see what needs to be done. I may wait a little while and let the new (to me) wear off. I don't want to be without it right now...
