Hello Z'ers
I'm not new the the Z world. I own several Z amps. This is the first one I think I'll have to mod. The Red Coat Ram Rod that came stock in my mini Z Combo seems to be all mids and treb. I know you can get fatness out of a 10" speaker, I have other amps that do it. I'm looking suggestions for a speaker placement.
I have webers in just about all my cabinets and conbos. I was looking to branch out to something different this time. I was thinking about getting a scumback H75 10 with breakin. I do not think the popular red fang would add any bottom end to it so that is why I'm looking elseware.

Hello audiojack.. ..are you thinkin' Alnico or Ceramic for this Mini? Do you need to squeeze a lot of volume out of it.. or are you cool with less decibels? A Tubby Ceramic 40/40 10" would sound Loud 'n Proud.. and warm and deep. If you're thinking about Alnico, the Tubby H1E 10" would be great for warmth and depth but less loud. The 10" 40/40 will run 100db, while the H1E will be 95db.. a noticable difference in volume. I also imagine Weber's Silver Ten (Alnico) being a great match for the Mini. Hope ya find something that you love.
