I have a v2 mazerati combo with blues. I guess the voicing is compared to an AC30 and this mostly works well for me. I've actually been using my Fender Dual pro more with my Crook and Telecasters. I have recently picked up a really nice Les Paul goldtop traditional and would like to use the Mazerati with a Zbest cab for more thump and grind. With that setup can I approach Marshall territory in any way? I don't really care about the extra lugging of the combo and the zbest cab.

I can do it all with my V1 and Z best. I have really fallen in love with it's punchy goodness. It's the best cab, speaker combo I've played to date. I would say yes Marshall territory is quite attainable.

I've got a V2 2x10 combo and if i "really" crank it...i can get some pretty crunchy tones. not quite as nasal as a Marshall, but super nice for classic rock. my only concern is the 2 blues, they might be a bit bright compared to what's usually in a Marshall cab...but i'll bet they sound great all the same. but the Z-best cab will have a tighter sound and a bit more bass than the open backed cab of the combo. so that will be closer to a Marshall.
