Hey guys, The Galaxy is an 8ohm head but I have a 16ohm Scumback M75 I am dying to try out. Can I put the speaker in a 1x12 cab and use it with the galaxy ? Thanks for any help

I do it often. No worries. Just do not go the other way and run it with a 4 Ohm load.
In general: Higher load -> lower output, cooler transformer Lower load -> more output, hotter transformer, lower life of parts in the power chain
Tone IS a little different. Your ears will have to be the judge of whether that is okay fine.

BTW, the other output jack is wired in parallel. So to be proper if you use it, use two 16 Ohm loads.
The external cab jack is on there because Mike sources the same transformers that the Tweed Super used. It had an external jack ... so if you are going to homage that bad boy, why not use that extra tap? ;D
