If you want to run it in the loop, the H&K Rotosphere is one of the best I've heard. But if you put it in front of the amp it's a bit noisy. In the loop it kills.

Also, the Arion Stereo Chorus. It sounds TERRIBLE as a chorus but really has that Leslie Choing.

The SCH-1 is the one to look for, no longer made and fetching stupidly high prices for what was originally a $25 plastic pedal. These do suck some tone though.

I also use the H&K Rotosphere. I would however like to try the Boss leslie simulator. I saw Duke Robillard using one about month or so ago with a Deluxe Reverb and sounded great and quiet

I can't say enough about the Boss RT-20. You can pick up one cheap on ebay. Kinda big, but I LOVE the leslie speaker sound. Perhaps I should elaborate. I love the ROTARY speakers sound. I tried a Line 6 Rotomachine. For the money, it was great...loaded with features, but it colored the sound...intentionally. They wanted to give it the TONE of a leslie. And that drove me nuts. I wanted the rotary speaker effect, but not the leslie tone. So I picked up the Boss RT-20. I use it in a true-bypass loop. Coolest feature: There is a separate ramp up/down speed for the horn (treble) and speaker (bass). The Line 6 did not have this and it was the first thing I noticed. I will have to add that I don't use any of the distortion settings. Might be an attractive feature to a keyboard player, but not a guitar player. And it's dead quiet.

I tried just about every rotary pedal out there, and my favorites were definitely the Rotosphere, Boss RT-20, and the Destination Rotation. Don't waste your time with the Line 6. I finally settled on the Boss, but am getting ready to sell. It's a great pedal with great sounds, and fantastic features, however, I'm trying to simplify my setup. I'll have it listed in the buy & sell in a few days.
Not trying to sell it you, just wanted to let you know that it is a great sounding pedal.

I have had a great deal of compliments on my H&K Rotosphere. Has true bypass with your choice of preamp tube, 12AX7, 12AT7 etc. Awesome tone! Rick
