Finally own my first piece of Z! Been surfing but cant get off the wave. I don't have a proper Z foot switch.
The Roland aftermarket switch i found turns the verb on and off, but turns on a tone squeal that sounds like a hearing test when the verb is off. Turn it on and the squeal goes away.
Any suggestions on a good aftermarket switch or where to get a Z-switch?

Thanks for the suggestion id like to try a weber, but I ended up with a Boss foot switch. Its what was for sale in town. Works nice. Zero hum and it uses a guitar cable instead of a pre-attached cable.

I have the same question - other than the Weber, is there one that Guitar Center sells that would work o.k.?
Otherwise, how/where can I get a genuine Dr. Z replacement?
Thanks guys and gals!

An email to Brent, the sales manager, may get a proper Z response.

*edit: about the screaming banshee sound, you want a switch that either uses an instrument (guitar, not speaker) cable or its own shielded cable.

I've picked up a couple footswitches really cheap on e-bay. One was $12 including shipping and the other was$13. Just check under footswitches.
