Anyone else notice some white noise when used in front of the amp? No noise when in loop of my Maz Jr. It basically sounds like my amp is louder than it is.

I'm sure you realize this but other may not so......... When something is going thru the effects loop it's post EQ of the amp so no noise is boosted, only reproduced. But when something is going into the front of the amp it is affected by the tone controls. As you raise the treble you will boost any hiss that is inherent in the effect. I used to run an Echoplex thru the loop on and amp and it sounded great there but thru the front it was way too noisy.

Good point. Makes sense. But the noise is there even with the pedal off.

This probably isn't the case, but I've had terrible problems with the Tonecore pedals and the power supply. If its on a daisy chain, or any unregulated power supply its white noise city.
Probably isn't your problem, but thought I'd mention it.

That's one pedal I had no use for. The Echo Park now that's another thing.
Plus one on that daisy chain thing. Tone Core's each want their own power supply.

My Verbzilla's really quiet. even in front of amps set for a mild break up? i wish i would find a pedal reverb that is as quiet as my MD3. that thing is virtually silent even when the amp is set for med gain.
