Does anyone else think the PSS is the greatest thing since sliced bread? I got so tired of inaccurate, poorly made tuners that died on a very routine basis. At first I thought "$189 for a tuner"? NOT! But I bit the bulllet, and then wondered how I ever did without it. The accuracy, the flexibility, the solidness of the pedal itself. It's so accurate that most guitars can't nail the "perfect" note. But it has made a difference, and I'm spoiled. All my guitars sound better, being so in tune. Way to go, Petersen!

I've read about it in other threads, and it seems very well built. I like the DI feature, for that acoustic guitar mic'd you wand to pass throu' some effects. But... I use tuner once, max twice in a whole night, so... I'm not on this, and my pedalboard is too crowdy...!!

LOVE it! True by-pass, accurate, durable, and a cool screen. I was hesitant about the money, but it was worth it. I'm trying to get Jason to step up and get one. His pedal board already looks like NASA. It would fit in so well!

It is the best tuner I've ever used. The people that complain about it usually have there guitars tone and volume dimed. You tell them to back them off and it's like a lightbulb went off in their head. The StroboStomp is built like a tank as well. Great product!

It works great, my only complaint is the 1/4" jack won't hold the guitar chord in very well. Not sure if this is just my unit or a common problem?

Not a problem on mine.

That's good to hear Billy, now I'll just open her up and perform a little surgery. I assumed it was a cheap Chinese made jack, my bad.

Well, Houston we've got a problem... cause you just envy my SupaTrem don't cha... you wish you had a delay that actually fit in a car trunk, much less on a pedal board.... bet that tape thang you got wouldn't even fit in the cargo hold of the space shuttle... yea thats it... you have Pedal envy... and to think I even let you Borrow my keeley comp to try out, and my BB... but you can't have em... cause their mine... all mine... and I turned you onto Z's... and this forum... and this is how you repay me... I was misquoted. It's out of context. I am not responsible.
I'm going into rehab.
The Strobotuner is the best. Worth every other penny.

It's a great tuner but definitely not built like a tank.....after 18 months the main swith and one of the mini were dead. I fixed them and now the input jack is going loose...... I take care of my pedals, everything is in a pedaltrain pro but the PSS is cheaply built, i wish to have one built lke a boss tuner !

Seriously, if I had to have one true bypass I'd get a PSS... but both boards and every switcher I have including a simple fulltone a/b box gives me the ability to switch to a tuner so I have 2 boss TU-2 tuners I can use with either board... I used em for years... never had a problem and they work so... I'd rather spend my money trying out a klon....
but I'm not gonna let Shannon play it... cause he's a booger-eater ;D
I'm just kidding, he doesn't really eat them...

Where do you guys put the PSS in your pedal chain - and WHY? I've seen lots of boards where the PSS is first in line, others where it is the last one.
I have mine at the end of the chain so I can do a total "SHUT OFF" of all pedals momentarily in use; i.e. when I am stacking several dirt/boost pedals I get rid of the noise quickly.

I run mine last, but it's mostly out of habit. My old tuner that I used for YEARS worked better after my OD. Sometimes just a guitar wouldn't give it enough to hold a reading. I had to run an AB switch to get it out of my chain but the PSS is true by-pass so I just put it at the end in line. I've heard lots of guys that run it first. I just like for as much signal as possible to be fed to the tuner. Good point on the "shut off" too!

First. I dunno, just felt the signal is purest just after the jack. I'll be second to my Picture wah when I get a pedalboard.

I always run the tuner first. I've always been afraid that if I run it after something that boosts signal, like a compressor, it might distort even in bypass. It probably wouldn't so i guess it's just habit.

Another option...
I run mine from the Tuner Out of my volume pedal. It's not first in the signal chain either, but just before my last two pedals - chorus and delay. Instant "shut off", as well as nice volume swells, etc.

I love mine but the darn jacks are sh!te... Hey Johnny, yea I had the same experience yet billyguitar says not. Wonder if it's a quality control issue or just a bad day for jacks when ours were made? The slightest tug and out pops the chord.... what a pain.
