Hello, Everyone!
New Z user here. Love these amps!
Got a Ghia 2x10 that I like to run with the vol at about 12 o'clock. A little breakup at that spot and I can roll the vol back on the guitar if I want more cleans. If I want a little more breakup, I stomp on a pedal, nothing major dirt-wise.
I hear lots of great things about the Zendrive, but it seems like everyone is using them through clean amps. Anyone liking how the Zen sounds on top of an amp already breaking up?
Thanks!

Hey thanks for the response, bukowski. As it turned out, I got a Zendrive a few days after my post and you're absolutely right, the Ghia and the Zendrive work really well together. I was originally looking for an OD that would get me close to the sound of the Ghia cranked. The Zen doesn't sound like the Ghia, but to me the beauty of the Zen is that it's like a natural extension of the Ghia. It's like another amp. I found that if I roll the Ghia's volume back to around 10:30-11:00, where it's light breakup on mine, that the Zen sounds great and I can use an Analog Man SD-1/808 Silver as a semi-dirty boost and to my ears it gets really close to the sound of the Ghia at about 3:00, but without the volume. I don't know if you have any experience with the Analog Man King of Tone, but I've got one on the way and it would have to somehow outdo the Zen and the SD-1/808 to stay in the house. That's a tall order!
