They all have Klons! And they all need Strobostomps. ;D Ha! Interesting that Debbie Davies likes her wah after all of the other pedals. I saw her at a blues festival I was working for, she played and sang great, sounded great and was really nice. She gave me a business card for lessons. Those would be some nifty lessons that I probably can't afford!

It always amazes me how some of these pros who are renowned for their "tone snobbery" (Doyle, E.J., etc.) have the ENORMOUS pedalboards. Buffered or not, there has GOT to be some tone coloration happening there. GOT to be. There's got to be 20 extra feet of signal path in the pedalboard alone.

I read an interview with DBII that when he signed up with Clapton, Clapton took one look at that board and said "If that thing breaks, it's outta here". DBII said "It's mainly for looks". That's a lot of eye candy to lug around IMHO. I used this a couple of times at most...lugged it to a couple of rehearsals...that was the end of that. Funny thing, the only pedal I still own from that board is the tuner. ;D

But for what it's worth, DBII did play with Roger Waters on "In the Flesh" doing Pink Floyd songs. That's helluva lot smaller rig than Gilmours! Lefty, how was the Voodoo-vibe, besides expensive? I bet they're killer but with a thousand sounds you could use I'd be hard to pick just one for live playing. I'm personally eyeing an Effectrode Tube-Vibe if I ever scrounge up the cash for one.

The VV is good, a little on the bright side, very BIG, and too tweakable for my tastes. I would not consider shelling that much $ for an effect I only use occasionally.
