I think this is the first time I have bought two of the same exact pedal at the same time. I just bought another Pro Analog Dual Drive to use on my other pedal board. There has been a couple times where I have bought a pedal, sold it and later bought it again down the road...sold it again. But this time it's a little different. It's just such a versatile pedal and I consider it to be my "go to" box for my boost/OD tones. Not as exciting as something different, but cool just the same.

Hmm, seems to be contagious. I've had 2 RC Boosters on my board for months. They work really well together.

I'm diggin the Xotic thing myself. I just finished my first 2 shows with the BB and I love it!. My Fulldrive was my main drive pedal, but I stepped on it once this weekend and it was like :-/compared to the BB. I see more Xotic purchases in the future!
Hey Lefty, wanna buy your Fulldrive back? ;D

When I got my first THD Flexi-50, I was blown away. Great amp. I wanted to record it, but I was gigging every weekend and my studio is way downstairs, so I bought a second Flexi and a second THD 2x12 for the studio. Then when they came out with their 4x12 I bought one of those too. I wish I felt like humping it to the gigs, because it sounds great. Now I got involved in these darned Z amps - OMG. I'm on my third, with my fourth on order. And I'm thinking a 1x12 Stang Ray couldn't be far in my future here. ACK - it is a disease!

I've considered buying another BB preamp, one set for my 'bucker guitars and the other for my strat. But most likely I'll look into an RC instead. Or maybe the AC. Or both. ;D

Back when I was playing all Rivera amps, I hated the "lead " channel on them. But the "Fender" channel was not bad. So I bought a Tonebone Classic for the lead tones. Hey, not bad! So I bought another so that I could set them for crunch and lead. Even better! Then I bought a Tonebone Hot British. Bleah - didn't like it. But I still have all three. After I got away from the Rivera amps, I didn't like them quite as much. I think they are voiced best for the Fender type amps.

I bought a Zinky True Grit that REALLY stank. A few months later, after I'd sold it, I said, you know, maybe I should give it another try...
So I did. Still stank.

Yeah, for different boards: Keeley Comp, Keeley DS-1, Keeley Katana, Keeley Mellow Wah, Barber DD, Ernie Mono Volume and the Digi Bad Monkey. The Digi pedals only because they're so cheap and sound fairly good - keep out for simple rehearsal or in a case/gig bag for the impromptu jam.
Am also on my 2nd Fulldrive...it's a love/hate thing.

I actually have 2 Gainsters now on my big board, one set for a little dirt, the other pegged. Great pedal there.

I thought I would miss my FD2, considering it was my 4th one...but nope! Not a single tear shed.

That Zinky pedal is lousy! Some guy at a store said that some guys like this pedal and hooked it up for me. First note was enough. The Fulldrive pedals are all like that to me too. I hear raspy buzzsaw when I listen to them. The only way they sound good is into an already distorting amp and by then what's the point? Where do you go for clean in that scenario? I've never bought multiples of exactly the same pedals or guitars but I have of amps. At one time I had three Deluxe Reverbs but after I got a Vibroluxe Reverb I moved off the Deluxes. They don't hold a candle to a Vibroluxe.

I don't mean to dish so hard on the Zinky, but it was either too boxy or too harsh and glassy. I was looking for a pedal that had a decent low OD boost and a more Rat-y, high gain channel, and the Zinky had the right idea, just very poorly executed (IMHO).
As long as I'm being a brute, the Prescription Dual Tone was another nasty piece of work to my ears. But lots of people like 'em, so I'm just sayin'...

I used to use two Klon's...one for clean boost and one for mild OD

I have to BD-2's that I modded with different kits from Monte Allums. One is real clean and I use it for a lead boost. The other is my overdrive. There are some other pedals I've thought about trying, but these are just working too well for me, so they're staying on my board...

A while back I sent him my ancient MXR Dynacomp so he could come up with a mod for the newer Dunlop reissues to captured the old sound. He used mine as the reference vintage Dynacomp... his mod for the new reissues is simply amazing as are his SD-1 mods. I haven't heard his BD-2 mods (I had a Keeley modded BD-2 for awhile) but I'm sure they are great. Plus he's a helluva guy. Highly recommended!

Any experience with Teese, Orion or Area 51 wahs? I have been set on Teese RMC-3 but Orion has my interest now as well but I have not found anyone who has any experience with the Orion. I emailed AnalogMike and he had no experience yet with Orion.

I have a Teese Picture Wah, which tickles my fancy when I'm in the mood.
