Yes! My first pedalboard!
I ordered the soft case version of the largest Pedaltrain. I chose softcase for the lower cost, lighter weight, and the fact that I really don't need an ATA spec case.
I also ordered the DC brick because I wanted to run my FD2 at 18V.
I also ordered a George L's pedalboard kit because I'm not about to wire this thing up with the same Monster Jazz junk that I have been using for ages.
I'm so excited!
Here's the pedal sequence I'm proposing to use thus far:
Strobostomp-->Clyde Wah--> FD2--> TS9-->Fish 'n' Chips EQ--> Mesa Rectifier Preamp-->DL4--> Stang Ray
I also have a Supa Trem that's going to be sent off for repair, and an old Tech 21 XXL that I'm not sure if I'll ever use.
In the future, I'm hoping to add a pedal that does some Marshallish tones (BB pre), a good Chorus (choralflange? TC electronic?) and some kind of rotary speaker, perhaps the Boss dual unit. I also might do the FX compressor that Stu likes so much.
I'd welcome any suggestions from you guys who have used pedalboards for awhile.
Any place I can get some 3m Dual Lock? I'd like the security of this over regular velcro.
I'd also think there it might some merit to placing these fx into a loop (think little lehle) and being able to switch them all out and go directly to the amp when I want it clean.
The direct sound of the Stang is good enough to deserve preservation, I think.
Thanks.
Justin

Dual lock is a bit much. I found industrial Velcro at Lowes and it's plenty strong. And I only use the grip side of the industrial Velcro not the fuzzy. I just use the fuzzy stuff that came with the PT.

Just use the velcro it comes with, it works great, my stuff gets beat to crap and I've never had any problems. Jusy my 2 cents.

I've used the Brick for about a year now. It's a great power supply. I use 18V for my FD2 & OCD and would not go back. Enjoy!

PedalTrains are great...I have had the Pedaltrain Jr. for years and it is the best piece of gear I own next to my Route 66. Saves mega time in set-up and tear-down.
