Can I send or bring my amp to the doctor and have him make my rt 66 240v?? Obviously it would cost some cash but I am interested in doing this.
I am moving overseas and need to bring the Rt. 66 with me. It would be amazing to be able to have a switchable option for 240v or 110v... not sure if this is possible, but many other amps have this.
I know that I can get an external device to plug my 66 into, but I figure since dr z is only about 4 hrs away from me, maybe I can just make trip out of it and get it done... not sure if its possible.
thanks

Thanks for your help. I emailed Brent and he helped me out. Looks like i'll just go the easy route (no pun intended) and buy a step down transformer for the 66. There is not way to have a switchable transformer and I would have to choose one or the other. Taswegian recommended this to me as well, but I thought I'd see if there was an option.
