Couple solo snippets from a rockabilly gig this past weekend. Big, awful sounding gymnasium, and bad recorder placement (too much me). 3 chick singers, upright bass, cocktail kit and myself. Oh, and about 200 dancers. Gretsch w/TV Jones Classics ----> cheapy Ibanez DE-7 slapback-----> Monza. Two short excerpts......1st shows the cleanish side on a Collins Kids song "Hop, Skip and Jump", and the second is a wee bit more cranked on a second (slighty out of control) solo on "Rock This Town". Hope you like seafood, 'cause the CLAMS are on the house! www.jimfogarty.com/tunes/Fillys-1-28-11-solos.mp3

Sweet man! I have a rockabilly band I put together in 2009. It's great fun and great music to play.
I've been a Brian Setzer fan for years and it seems like the whole rockabilly thing is making a comeback though it is largely underground.
