That's what I thought. I saw a few sell for around $1300 but that was a year ago, and they went quick at that price.
I just know the resale value is down right now.
I don't really need another amp but at that price I don't know if I can resist.

Well bad news on the 66. It was actually on ebay but the seller didn't have it tagged properly so there were no bids on it but a few people have obviously found it. There's a little less than an hour left and it's close to $800 plus the shipping...so I'm out. I really don't need another amp that bad.
But on the positive side I found an Egnater 112x cab (the one that goes with the tweaker head). I emailed him with a question and next thing I know he is sending me a brand new one loaded with a Celestion G12H30 for $240 USD shipped. Should sound great with my Ghia!...plus at 16ohm I can combine it with my 2x10 (4 ohm).
I think he is clearing stock so if anyone is interested PM me and I'll send you a link.

Anything under $1000 should be considered a good deal.
$800 is a great deal.
I paid $1200 for a 1999 and love it.

Ya, I have some other gear that I need to buy so after thinking about it I didn't really want to tie my cash up on it.
They are great sounding amps, I played through one a few years ago which is what sold me on Dr. Z's. But I have a couple amps to cover the American Fender type sounds and the Ghia to cover the British sort of flavor so it would just be another amp and I'd have until I decided to sell one, and which one do I sell.
I'd rather not have excess amps around, plus even if I did turn around a resell it I wouldn't make that much on it, maybe a couple hundred if I'm lucky. So hopefully the person that did get it will enjoy it instead of it sitting around half the time at my place.
