Playing with my new PreSonus FireStudio here so I had to noodle something in, and this was it. CS Strat > Z-Wreck > Hot Plate (-12db) > ZW 2x12 Kind of Hey Joeish

damn - I think this is a better blues/rock amp than Country amp. This Brad Paisley thing has thrown everybody off course. I am think a lot of Country guys will buy it because of Brad but find that this is no "George Strait Music" amp.

Nice and "stringy", if that makes sense. Love it, Steve.

Nice and "stringy", if that makes sense. Love it, Steve. Eddie The ZW can make a Strat sound very open and airy - I don't think you can get quite that sound with any other amp that I've ever played. There are probably others, but not in this economic bracket.

You can hear each string in a chord, even though there's plenty of hair on the notes. Wonderful tone and tasty playing. I need you to do a whole tune about 4 - 5 minutes long of just you noodling like this so I can put it on my iPod. My birthday's coming up! :-) Eddie

I'd also say there's a dimensionality or depth to the notes that is better than any amp I've played to date. It's like the notes are cut or beveled or incised more finely, if that makes sense. ormond: you said it. This is a great rock amp.

Must be something about those wood panels Wood panels, Celestion Alnico speakers, Dr. Z genius (see definition in signature - I'm not kidding about that) and a good Strat. There it is!
