Yo Z Family, Here's a clip of a strat through the MAZ Jr. with a bit o' verb and the tonestack in BYPASS mode. It does add a lot of gain, but can still produce a nice warm tone with the Volume set around 9 o'clock and the Master up. I had the cut about 9 o'clock. A dash of reverb. No compression or anything in Garageband. Just an MXL condenser against the grill. Near the end, you can hear my daughter come into the kitchen and drop some dishes in the sink - then you hear me go "shhhh". :-) I need a Harvey-style man cave! :-) Peace, Eddie www.box.net/shared/42f9a5uce3

I was gonna say, that about as jazzy as I've ever heard a strat! Great old-school archtop vibe!

Thanks guys!
Believe it or not, them Fender guitars and el84's can get purty jazzy. You just have to coat the speaker with peanut butter. :-)

Yes, that was terrific, Eddie. Any chance you'd share more detail of the amp and guitar settings? I'd love to post those to the MAZ tone settings chart, which hasn't had a new entry for a while now.

Thanks doc! ;D As I remember, it was Vol 9 Tone Stack Bypassed Master Noon Cut 9 Reverb 9 Strat on neck pickup with volume full up and tone about 7. Lindy Fralin Blues Special pup. Eddie

Thanks, Eddie. I forgot to ask: lo or hi input? I'm sure it was the lo input. I actually use the lo input all the time. I probably should experiment more with using the hi, but I like the sound of the amp and my guitar with the lo so I don't mess with the hi much. Thanks!! Eddie
