OMG I fought to get this.... I did the drums in Acid Pro, which worked very nice, but I don't really have any decent audio in that works with that, so I exported to WAV and imported that into ProTools 8. After recording several tracks I discovered greater than 50ms latency between tracks - argh! I pushed everything but the drums to the right by 50ms and it is sort of close but not dead on. Then I tried to export to .mp3. That's when I discovered my PT8 "upgrade" had deactivated my .mp3 .dll. Dagnabbit. So I tried exporting to Windows Media and that was a non starter no matter how I set it - must be some problem there as even at the highest quality settings it sounded like barf. So I tried Quicktime, and it makes a good enough quality output, but dang is it ever large. First one was over 40 megabytes - a bit large for this. Three tries later and I got that down to "only" 13.5 megs. Holy moley! So this is filled with clams and certainly isn't my best playing by any stretch (I wonder if I'll EVER have any of my "best" playing on a recording?) But it does give a bit of an idea what the Z-Wreck sounds like... CS Strat > Z-Wreck > THD Hot Plate (-12db) > Z-Wreck Cab (mic on the Alnico Blue) All neck pup, rhythm guitar with volume on 4, lead guitar volume wide open Rear switch set for "Speed" Volume: Dimed Treble: 2 o'clock Bass: 10 o'clock Cut: 2 o'clock IMOERjam3.mov (13.5 Megabytes)
