Just wondering; I have the old Rectangular Z 1x12 cab w/ a G12H 30. Is the Gold that much better? Any thoughts ? Thanks, The G12H sounds real good, but I hear the Gold is

It depends on what you're looking for. Personally, I'm not a fan of the G12H. (although it matches nicely with my Z-28) Scooped mids and a crispy high end...to me it sounds real buzzy with the Remedy. To me, the greenback is the end-all for the Remedy. And if you play metal...a V30.
But back to you. I would pick the Gold over the G12H.

I'm with roknfnrol. Love the Gold in my Maz 18 but in the Remedy I prefer a Greenback styled Weber 1225(1/2 power and brakelite 2 or 3 clicks).

Thanks, The G12H sounds real good, but I hear the Gold is Of those I would say Gold is the way to go. But, if you have not, I would consider a Greenback (only 1/2 power if a 1x12 cab) too. I love both the Gold and Greenback with the Remedy. Jamey

Greeny's is the consensus. until Rem is paid for G12H and then a Green style that can handle 40 watts. Well I only play half power but some say I'm missing a Malted Milk-shake on full power. So I may try that too. Thanks guys
