Just curious as to how people use the Overdose mode on the Rx Jr. Do you 1) tend to leave it off and kick it on for solos or do you 2) leave it on all the time and work the guitar volume, maybe using a pedal for a little extra boost when soloing? Or, I guess the 3rd option is do you leave it off and never use it?

Because I play at lower volumes (church, smaller venues) I have the OD on all the time as it fattens it up real nice, and use my Flying Dragon as a boost and one of my OD pedals for extra gain.

Option 3 for me. I set mine just on the edge of breakup for my highest output pickup and use pedals for anything more. So, the overdose just doesn't get used.

At first, I left it on all the time, but lately I've kept it off and used the 'HI' input with the amp a tad hairy from the get-go. Pedals beyond that. I play small gigs only though, so your mileage may vary.

I'm not surprised that (so far) leaving the OD on seems to be the favoured approach. Does seem to fatten things up nicely. I do find it a tad noisy though when the OD is on along with a high gain pedal.

I play at lower volumes(front volume = 9:30 then adjusting the master around noon), so i keep the OD on. it really adds a nice bloom to the notes.
