If the Z-Verb will be available in Quantum Silver, I'll add one to my Z-Wreck purchase. Anyone know whether it'll be available this way? Thanks, MeZa

Thanks, MeZa my question is why is the z verb in quantum silver $250 more than other z verbs? i just checked em out on Humbucker Music and a Z Verb is listed at $699 but a silver one is $949! Please tell me its not just pure cosmetics! J5

The Doc & crew take extra time & care with the tolex corners on the Quantum Silver ones since they don't get those screw-on metal corners. So really, the up-charge is because of the extra labor necessary to make it look uber-perfect.

The addition is for the cost of the hardwood front.

...and I must say as a woodworker who makes my own hardwood fronts, that is a deal when you consider you are paying retail. I usually put about 5 hours into a valence (@ $25/hour craftsman charge) - more if I do inlays or a fancy finish. Also, when you are finishing pieces that are to be matched like the quantum silver fronts - that adds a level of difficulty and time as well because you have to get the dye or stain just right and matched on all pieces. Then there is the cost of wood... I paid $$$ for the board I made this valence from:

The way I look at it is if you buy something as nice as a Z Wreck then it is worth the extra cash so they match. The Z Amps all look as good as they sound which matters
