I love this amp. This is the amp I've wanted since I was a teenager. I haven't been playing much at all lately, but I just got a new cable from Todd that I have been noodling with (just a GREAT cable, by the way) and that dang Remedy is still blowing my sox off! I got the idea from someone here to put both of my Airbrakes on there so that I could play with different combinations of attenuation - this is a great trick! I can get the volume way down and it still sounds like the Remedy.
Anyway, just rambling on here - love, Love, LOVE this amp!

I love the love you have for the remedy. I'm stoked that I can finally take my remedy from my rehearsal space and into my newly purchased home! (I previously rented an apartment so no remedy at home). Looks like the Basement is going to become a recording studio and I can crank the Remedy up whenever i want. I couldn't be happier

Gotta do some woodshedding and maybe I'll build up enough confidence to attempt a clip or two...

Steve, Given that I have to wait about six weeks before mine arrives, your gushing about the Remedy is not helping my GAS at all. Seriously, thanks for posting this. Living on the Oklahoma prairie, I have to drive to Kansas City or Dallas to audition equipment, and then the stores often do not have the model in which I am interested. So I traded my Maz 18 for a Remedy based on: 1) the tone I heard on my Maz 18 when I finally used it with a Brake Lite; 2) the recommendation of Mike Gallo at Fat Sound Guitar's; 3) your recommendation on the Grosh web site; and 4) other comments/reviews on this forum. Even so, between when the order is placed and the gear arrives, it's reassuring to have your purchase decision reinforced by another owner. And by the way, thanks for that good advice on the Grosh forum. Kirk

Give your speakers time to break in (assuming new speakers) and you will have an amp you can use to good effect on almost anything for probably the rest of your life. It really is that good.

I got a good opportunity to crank my Remedy and try the new WCR pickups I put in my '58 LP VOS last band practice. On 20 watts I went from 3 on the Brakelite to 0 and then to 40 watts ..............................OMG, absolutely insane tone!!!

I left work early today because I was totally peeved and couldn't take it any more (at least until tomorrow morning) and came right home and fired up the Remedy. Ah, sweet medicine. I was running the McCarty (with WCR's) into a Wampler Pinnacle II through the Remedy/G12-65 and it was totally nuts. That had to be the sweetest, meanest tone I've ever produced. Maybe there's something to that playing with emotion thing. Anyway, I feel much better now. Yep, I love it too!!

Must echo: I do the same as Steve the Benttop boy every couple of days - fall in love again. This Remedy is an absolute joy every time I play through it and is sweet cranked or clean. I use it mostly at home with the Air Brake cranked back anywhere from 3 back to bedroom setting and the amp sounds glorious in all settings. And I know the less I brake it, the better it'll sound, so I gotta get some more gigs! I have a habit of running two or three amps and switching back and forth comparing them (lately the Rem the Ray and the RxES) and the Rem always does just as good a job as the others on any kinda tune. LOVE THIS AMP! Who wouldn't? I'm starting to think that once a Z Wreck arrives and gets worked into the fold that I could be converted to a two amp player: maybe all a body ever'll need is a Wreck and a Rem and then be able to do everything all the time forever! Time'll tell.
jj
gonna have to try the double brake thang

Bentop I love it too. What really gasses me is when my son comes home from college. Full power and no attenuator and he rocks the amp like nothing else. When I first got it and the Z-Best I sent Doc a PM .......I gushed. Doc responded but I can tell you my love for this amp is greater today. Desert island amp for me.......even though I have a Wreck coming.
